What is Integrated Meridian Therapy?
Integrated Meridian Therapy (IMT) is a safe, non-invasive, subtle, yet powerful and rather miraculous new approach to help people live their lives in greater balance. IMT is a tool that is used in psychology and related fields for enhancing performance, reducing stress, and relieving `dis‑ease'. It is especially useful for reducing fears and worry/anxiety, anger, depression, and everyday stress. It can enable people to let go of longstanding grief or other trauma and move on with their lives. IMT is an amazingly effective tool to center ourselves on a regular basis so that we can gain clearer perspective on our lives, thus allowing us to put more focused energy into completing our life’s goals and fulfilling our dreams.
The IMT approach helps to resolve these problems by utilizing the meridiN energy system, on of the oldest known healing methods. The use of this energy system is the root of acupuncture, acupressure, and applied kinesiology (a method of chiropractic medicine). In the most basic sense, what meridian therapy does is balance the subtle energy pathways, or meridians, in our bodies so that we can be 'in balance' within our world and ourselves. When we are in this balanced state we can more easily act in harmony with whom we really are rather than react in an automatic or unconscious way.
A very simple process that you apply to yourself
IMT can help resolve the following problems:
Perhaps, most importantly, IMT is a self‑help tool. Anyone, young or old, can easily learn to use this approach themselves in their daily lives as a quick and effective way to calm down, "get centered", or otherwise come into balance. Instead of using needles or pressure, tapping with one or more fingers is used to stimulate the meridian points. The energy that is 'generated' when we tap is quite literally converted to electromagnetic impulses which travel along the meridians and have a balancing effect. I will teach you this tapping process in the office and then you will be able to apply it to yourself any time you feel the need or want to work on some of those areas that are preventing you from fulfilling your potential.

Dr. Arnold Morgan is the originator of IMT, utilizing and integrating features from various other approaches. The basis of what you will learn is primarily the result of Dr. Roger Callahan’s work in Thought/Field Therapy. Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is also a derivation of Dr. Callahan’s model and is similar in many ways to IMT. The explanation of IMT used in this brochure is information taken directly from Dr. Morgan’s workshop on IMT.
